Bar Council Verified
Clarity in law.
Confidence in life.
MyAdvocacy connects you with Bar Council verified advocates — search by city, practice area, or name, and understand your rights before you ever pay a fee.
Before you pay anyone
Three things that are true of every advocate listed here.
Enrolment is checked first
The number on the profile is matched to the State Bar Council register before it goes live.
You are never charged by us
Advocates pay for their listing. Citizens pay nothing, at any point.
You choose, unprompted
No paid ranking, no “recommended” slot, no commission on your engagement.
Three steps, and none of them cost you anything.
Most people arrive here in the middle of something stressful. The path through is deliberately short.

A way to find the right advocate.
MyAdvocacy does not take a cut of your case, and it does not decide who you hire. Every advocate listed here is checked against their Bar Council registration before they appear — then you compare, read, and choose for yourself.
For citizens it is free, and it stays free. Advocates pay to be listed, which is the whole business model — no commissions, no touts, and no incentive to push you toward anyone in particular.

If you need an advocate
Start with the problem in your own words. You do not need the right legal term, an account, or a budget in mind — filter by city and practice area, read what has been verified, and get in touch when you are ready.
- Search and read without registering
- Fee ranges and free-consultation status shown upfront
- Contact the advocate yourself, directly
If you are an advocate
Be found by people searching your city and your practice area. Your listing is what you are paying for — not leads resold to four other chambers, and not a share of your fee.
- Verified badge once your enrolment clears
- You keep every rupee your clients pay you
- Publish articles and list internships from your dashboard
The questions people actually ask.
Answered plainly, including the ones where the answer is no.
Is this free for me?
Yes, and it stays free. Searching, reading a profile, and contacting an advocate cost nothing. Advocates pay to be listed — that is the entire business model, which is why there is no commission and no incentive to steer you toward anyone in particular.
What does "Bar Council verified" actually mean?
Before a profile goes live, the enrolment number on it is checked against the advocate's State Bar Council registration. A profile that fails the check does not appear. It confirms the person is entitled to practise — it is not an endorsement of how they will handle your matter.
Will you tell me which advocate to hire?
No. You see the same verified information about everyone and choose for yourself. There is no ranking you can pay to climb, and no "recommended" placement.
Do you handle my case or hold my documents?
Neither. Once you contact an advocate, the relationship is directly between you and them, governed by the ordinary rules of professional conduct. Nothing about your matter passes through us.
Why do you not publish success rates or client numbers?
Because a published success rate on a site run by practising advocates is a conduct risk, and most such figures cannot be verified by anyone. We would rather show you fewer numbers that are all true.
I am an advocate. How do I get listed?
Register, submit your enrolment details and practice areas, and the profile goes live once the Bar Council check clears. You keep every rupee your clients pay you.
